PerTronix Ignitor Points Conversion, Delco 8-Cylinder
The classic swap: two wires, about fifteen minutes, and no more points to gap. Invisible under the cap, which is why restorers use it.

Breaker points wear, drift out of adjustment, and fail at the worst time. A PerTronix Ignitor replaces them with a solid-state module that hides under the original distributor cap, so the engine bay still looks factory. These picks are for GM V8s with a Delco points distributor; PerTronix makes versions for most other distributors, so match yours before you order.
